Hello

When i boot up my computer it sounds like a car with a flat battery trying to start, or a hooping cough
Does anyone know what it might be.

you can go quite a while in this condition without bad result

or you can open the case

blow out the inside (particularly the fans)

and even squirt a little WD40 on the fans

*caution, this can get messy

That happened to me too, Jeff. I cleaned it out and it sounded much better with all the dust and what not in there cleaned out. What changed later was the top of my tower got a little too warm and eventually I had to buy a master fan. It's been fine since I replaced it and it was under $40 to do so.

Your right, my DW did that for me and I stopped whining immediately.
